The Alcázar of Segovia is equipped with a video surveillance system serving various purposes such as: ensuring the security of the facilities, customers, and staff, monitoring access to restricted areas, and preventing violations of the rules.

The video surveillance system is operated by a private security service. The Control Room, where the video surveillance system is monitored, is a restricted access area, with limitations on real-time image viewing and recordings for unauthorized personnel.

  • Processing: The recording of images provided by the cameras constitutes the processing of personal data and, as a result, is subject to data protection regulations.
  • Storage and Access to Images and Videos: Recordings will be securely stored for a maximum period of one month, except those submitted to the courts and law enforcement agencies. Access to these recordings must be requested, justifying the need to know, from the data processing manager: patronato@alcazardesegovia.com.
  • Duty to Inform: Notice is given about the presence of cameras and image recording through informational signs, where a pictogram and text detail the responsible party to whom interested parties may exercise their rights.
